We are working away updating our cemeteries,
including photographing graves and available records. As these are done they will be added to our CEMETERIES DATABASE.
Please be patient with us we are a very small team of volunteers Please see below information regarding each cemetery
within our region. Click on the cemetery name for helpful information of
those we have completed and a plan of cemetery. At present the two cemeteries, Clinton and Purekireki,
is available to search - please read tips below before searching Tips for Searching Database ·
Search for an individual cemetery and
specific name/s, years and ages. ·
Search on names by Contains, Is
Exactly, Starts with and Sounds
like. Use these to pick up different spellings of names. ·
If your search doesnt return results
remove specifics or widen the search criteria. ·
Click on the name link of results to
bring up details ·
Images available may be clicked on and
opened as larger image and can be saved to your computer by right clicking on
the image select Save Image As ·
At the bottom of the record is a link
to print the record page ·
Available paper records have been

you can search the same surname within the same cemetery ·
You can also search the same plot Keep in mind that the database will only return
what is currently in the records and the spellings contained in these
records. Many cemeteries have patchy early records. Transcriptions are
recorded as they are in records with any further information added as a
separate entry. ALWAYS seek original record where possible, and more
than one record source for the information. As each cemetery is completed the updated index will
be added to the website. At present current transcription indexes
(names only) are contained within the MASTER INDEX. So if the cemetery and/or burial that you are seeking is not
in the DATABASE please use the MASTER INDEX. Please do not
hesitate to contact us if this index does not include the person
you are seeking and we will help you. We offer images of graves and headstones and
in some case a cropped image of the record. There is no charge for our
cemetery service. To request a transcription

name/s wanted. Remember we are also happy to do a full research query
for you. We request reimbursement of costs (copying, P&P etc) and
